Decks: The left-hand side of the Site Analysis page contains Decks used to organize work flow. Each Deck provides different functions and access to the various databases in Site Analysis. All reports are generated within the Decks after the creation of a Project and at least one Study Area within the Project.

Demogaphic and Business Report Creation:
Step 1: Choose Report and Maps Deck: All reports and maps are organized by categories to allow you to easily select the type of reports you want to generate for a Study Area. When you select a category, you will see a list box of all the reports contained in that category available to generate. There is also a sample button next to each report which allows you to view a sample of the report and explains the data and other information used to create the report.
Report Categories:
All Reports: All reports, maps, and images are provided in one consolidated location for selecting what is most suitable for your current study.
Aerial/Satellite Photos: GlobeXplorer provides a 300 dpi image in a PDF suitable for high-resolution printing. Select high-resolution satellite imagery and aerial photography of the immediate area around your site. GlobeXplorer images are available for more than 98 percent of the continental United States at varying resolutions. Images are continually updated.
Business Extract (Sort/Upload File): The Business Extract provides an Excel file containing an unformatted list of businesses by trade area. The Business Extract contains more than 15 million points of business data from Acxiom Corporation. Use this information to run reports by one of 15 specific industry sectors to reveal untapped business opportunities in your area.
Business Locator: Similar to the Business Extract report, this PDF report accessesreport include:
Consumer Spending: These reports include the total dollar amount spent, average amount spent per household, and the Spending Potential Index, which measures the amount spent for certain products or services in your area compared to the U.S. average.
Demographic Reports: These comprehensive reports provides an overview of key demographic attributes and consumer-spending patterns in a trade area. ESRI 2006/2011 Demographic data provides you with current and accurate information about the U.S. population, households by type and relationship, housing units, occupancy, income levels, age, race, Hispanic origin, and more.
Maps: Define your trade areas using states, counties, places, Congressional Districts (CDs), Core Based Statistical Areas (CBSAs), County Sub-Divisions (CSDs), Designated Market Areas (DMAs), ZIP Codes, or census tracts. The map shows your site location and its trade areas on a basemap displaying 3D shaded relief of mountains and valleys in addition to standard reference layers such as highways, major roads, rivers, and county boundaries. Show your site on top of a thematic map depicting any of more than 10,000 demographic, consumer expenditure and market potential data variables in our system.
Market Potential: The Market Potential line of reports is based on data collected by Mediamark Research Inc. in a nationally representative survey of U.S. households. Market Potential reports display the number of adults or households expected to consume a product or service. Also included is a Market Potential Index (MPI) that measures the relative likelihood of the adults or households in your area to exhibit certain consumer behavior compared to the U.S. average.
Multifamily Express Package: The Multifamily Express Pack report includes key demographic attributes for commercial real estate professionals who work with multifamily properties, users, or investors. A side-by-side comparison of the data for up to three areas is also included. Information in this report can be used to evaluate sites, analyze markets, and assess trends.
Office/Industrial Express Package: Similar to the Multifamily report, this package of reports is geared to office/industrial properties.
One Map Includes All Sites: The standard and enhanced maps provided in this section shows multiple sites and their trade areas on a single map. The sites and trade areas appear on a basemap displaying standard reference layers such as highways, major roads, rivers, and county boundaries.
Retail Express Package: Similar to the Multifamily report, this package of reports is geared to retail properties. Based on annualized data from the Consumer Expenditure Survey, the included in this section is the CEX report line which identifies the consumer dollar potential available to be spent for various retail categories.
Specialty Reports: A variety of specialty reports provided in tabular and graph formats such as:
Select a Category: When you select a category, you will see a list box of all the reports contained in that category available to generate. There is also a sample button next to each report which allows you to view a sample of the report and explains the data and other information used to create the report. Below the list box of reports are two buttons, Select Reports and Previous Reports and Maps. When you are ready to generate reports, click the Select Reports button.
Choose Reports Widget: After clicking the Select Reports button, the Choose Reports widget will open on top of the map. Please note you can move this floating widget by left clicking on the top bar line of the widget, hold down the left click, drag the widget to the location desired, and release the widget. (Some browsers may require you to anchor the widget by left clicking again on the top bar line) Now you can simply follow the steps.
Step 1: Pick your Reports: Select the report(s) you wish to generate by selecting the box to the left of the report name. If you want to preview a report, click on the icon next to the report name. Now you can choose the format of the report from the drop down list. The default format of the report was determined by your preference selection in the Preferences Deck. This is your opportunity to change it. If your subscription does not include a report, there will be a price in the last column for you to purchase the report.
Step 2: Report Subtitle: If you made your preference selections in the Preference Deck, this will already include your selection. If you want to change it or did not make preference selections in the Preference Deck, you can input your choice now.
>Step 3: Pick your Study Areas: By default, the Study Area you selected or generated before you started to select reports will be highlighted and moved to the Run Reports Using column. If you have other Study Areas within this project, you may choose to add those by highlighting the Study Area and clicking the arrow to move it from one side to the other.
Step 4: (Optional) Specify Additional Email Addresses: If you want your selected reports to be sent to anyone after they are generated, just add email addresses in the box and a report email will be sent.
Run Reports: Click the Run Reports button and the reports will be sent to our servers and the reports will be generated.
Order Accepted Widget: An Order Accepted Widget will pop-up and tell you the order is processing and ask you if you want to be notified when your order is ready. If you are going to remain in Site Analysis and want to be notified, select Yes. If you are going to leave Site Analysis and want to wait for your email with the report order, select No.
Your Order is Ready Widget: If you selected (Yes) for notification when the report order is ready, the Your Order is Ready Widget will pop-up when the order is ready. To open the report order, select Yes below to open the report order.
Previous Reports Widget: The Previous Report Widget will now pop-up and the order most recently completed will be highlighted and the report order will be below. You may open all reports by selecting PDF File: All reports in one pdf document below and all your reports will be within one PDF, or you may choose Zip File: All reports in one zip file to get all the reports separately in a single Zip file, or you may select each report individually below and open each one separately.
Previous Reports: On the Previous Report Widget you may change Projects or select different Study Areas within the Project. If you click the Show Reports button, it will list all report orders for that Project in the right column with most recent at the top to the oldest at the bottom. All report orders remain on the server for 60 days, then will be automatically deleted.
